About Our Private Dog Training Programs
During Private Dog Training Lessons, our certified trainers will discuss your goals and create a customized training plan for your dog. These sessions will focus on building basic obedience skills, including door manners, leash walking and understanding boundaries. As your dog progresses, we’ll cover any specific challenges or goals you have for your dog.
We offer two types of Private Dog Training Lessons for dogs 4+ months old on Mondays through Fridays to suit your needs and busy schedule. Learn which one-on-one program is right for you.
Option 1: Obedience Primer
- 3 Private Dog Training Lessons held over two weeks at our training facility
- Includes a Sit Means Sit e-collar, place board and 6 Group Classes
Option 2: Obedience Primer Plus
- 1 full day of Day Training
- 2 Private Dog Training Lessons held over two weeks
- Includes a Sit Means Sit e-collar, place board and 3 months of Group Classes

Are private dog training lessons offered at home?
In-home Private Dog Training Lessons are only included during our Board & Train and Day Train programs. You will receive one in-home private lesson within a 35-mile radius of our facility in West Cleveland. If you live outside this radius, travel fees will be applied.

Are private training lessons available for both puppies and adult dogs?
Yes, our Private Obedience Primer and Obedience Primer Plus programs are available to dogs four months or older. Our certified dog trainers will create individualized training plans that match your dog’s skill level and learning style to ensure every session is a success.

What are the requirements to enroll in Sit Means Sit private dog training?
For everyone’s safety during our Private Dog Training programs, your dog must be four months or older and have up-to-date vaccinations for Bordetella, distemper, parvo, leptospirosis and rabies to enroll.
